A tour of the most emblematic sites of Ancient Athens. We will visit Acropolis, the major landmark of the city with its impressive temples and also the Agora that was the cradle of democracy and where great minds like Plato and Socrates expressed their ideas. My experience in archaeology and my passion for the Greek culture will guarantee you an informative, interesting and engaging tour. You will get intrigued by the glory of the Greek civilization and learn entertaining and unknown details about Ancient Athens.
The tour was amazing. She was very informative. So much great information about the Acropolis. Quick to respond to Email questions. Very helpful with information about tickets needed before the actual tour. We would definitely go on one of her other tours next time we are in Athens.
Ioanna K was very knowledgeable and professional. She was waiting at our meeting point when we arrived. The tour was very informative and she answered all of our questions. I would highly recommend her as a guide for this tour.
Ioanna was friendly and very knowledgeable - we really enjoyed our tour of the Acropolis and Agora and felt we had a far greater understanding of the historical significance and marvellous Greek myths after our visit. Ioanna was also very thoughtful and understanding that, as seniors, we preferred a slower pace. Very highly recommended.
Ioanna was a fantastic guide for many of the major sites in Athens! She told us the stories that helped the Acropolis and Agora come alive for our family. It was a fascinating day, and we felt lucky to be with such a friendly, knowledgeable guide!! Extremely highly recommended!
We had an amazing tour with an excellent guide. She was very knowledgeable, warm and friendly! It was everything we hoped for in our visit to the ancient sites of Athens!
Our tour of the Acropolis and Ancient Agora with Joanna was excellent. She was very accommodating to meet us at the alternate entrance which allowed us to see the Dionysius Theatre. Despite the huge crowd she guided us through efficiently. We enjoyed her personality and knowledge. Great guide and would recommend her to anyone.
We start with. the Acropolis hill where we will admire unique masterpieces of ancient architecture including the Propylaia (monumental entrance),the Temple of Athena Nike, the Erechtheion (temple with maidens) and, of course, the Parthenon, the most impressive temple. We continue with the Ancient Greek Agora, the political, administrative and commercial center of Ancient Athens, where we will view, among others, the Temple of Hephaestus and the rebuilt Attalos Stoa Tickets should be purchased online in advance of the tour
