Your Athens tour itinerary
·After picking you up from your lodging, we'll head to the the Acropolis hill, where we'll spend around an hour and a half seeing the following edifications: -Parthenon -Erechtheum (famous for the Caryatids) -Temple of Athena Nike -Dionysus Theater -Odeon of Herodus Atticus ·Next, we'll reach the Ancient Greek Agora, the ancient marketplace. (1hour) ·We'll then pass by the "Trilogy of Athens": the Academy, the National Library & the First University. ·We'll later see the Panathenaic Stadium, the world's largest marble stadium where the First New Modern Olympics started in 1896. (20min) ·Afterwards, we'll see Hellenic Parliament & the Changing of the Guards. (20min) ·Later, we'll see the Temple of Olympian Zeus, the largest temple in both Hellenic & Roman times. (20min) ·Next, we'll ascend atop the Lycabettus Hill (highest point of the city) to enjoy a fantastic view of Athens. (20min) ·We'll then have lunch to indulge in delicious Greek cuisine.
