I was born and raised in a small village in Greece, on Apollo's mountain Parnassus. I studied tourism management and have been working in tourism for more than 30 years. My passion is history and mythology, I love nature, traveling, reading and socializing with people. I have been dealing with tours for the last 6 years and having worked in the entire spectrum of Tourism, I discovered that it is what suits me best. I feel free to design and create experiences I love, in places I find unique. It is important for me to be able to share my passion with people from all over the world. It makes me happy to feel that I gave them an experience they will always remember. This fills me up and makes me feel successful. This is my goal always: not to go together, just to a popular destination, to go together on an experience you will remember forever, to see landscapes and do thinks that will fill you with emotions. Let's go! Degree in tourism management (University of Crete) Degree of teaching Tourism I am not a licensed guide and will not be able to guide you inside of the archaeological sites or museums. But you are going to have any detailed information you need, before your entrance in an archaeological site.

The archeological site of Olympia is breathtaking and awe-inspiring, I think one of the best archaeological sites we have in Greece. The entrance to the archeological site looks like a passage into space-time. It is a place to be visited, at least once in a lifetime! Olympia was established in Greece as the most important religious and sports center. Here were born the most important games of ancient Greece. Also, museum of Olympia houses few of the most beautiful sculptures of antiquity. It's a long trip there, almost 3, 5 hours, but I think worth it, the entire Peloponnese route is gorgeous. The whole history of the Olympic games is very interesting, but there are also many funny stories about them. Transactions, transfers of athletes, the exclusion of women and many other interests. After our visit to the archaeological site we will drive 30 minutes away, for swimming and lunch at "Kakovatos" beach.
* First stop is the Canal of Corinth, after 1 hour driving. It is a canal that was finally built in 1890, although the idea of its passage already existed from 602 BC. * We need 2, 5 hours more for Ancient Olympia. On our way we will pass through villages, olive trees fields and wine yards, the landscape is amazing. The archeological site of Olympia, one of the largest in the country, gave us one of the richest sets of monuments and works of art, such as Hermes of Praxiteles. Here we will see, in addition to the stadium (45, 000 seats), the temples of Hera and Zeus, the Philippion, the Council house, the laboratory of Feidias and the Museum. * After a dip in history, we will go for a dip in one of the most beautiful beaches of the Peloponnese, located near ancient Olympia. There we will also have lunch before our return to Athens. (Swimming on the beach, concerns the summer months. . . unless you are a winter swimmer)
