Our tour with Monica was fantastic! Monica was clear and responsive in the planning stage. She speaks great English and is extremely well educated and knowledgeable about the history, architecture and art of the early Mexican populations and the pyramids. She was thoughtful and fun and generous with her time and we enjoyed the tour very much. Thank you Monica!
Monica had excellent knowledge of the history of Mexico going back to the earliest Mesoamerican civilization through the preclassic and classic periods. The Anthropology's Museum's collection is extensive and she was able to choose objects and areas that complemented her detailed knowledge really bringing the history and traditions to life for me. I truly enjoyed my tour...
This tour with, Monica, was wonderful. We even had some time to walk up the street and visit the small square near the Chapel. The visit to Casa Pedregal was lovely, and the lunch we had in the adjoining building (apparently the old stables), was delicious. Monica was a lovely host, well informed and always wanted to make sure that I had a great experience.
Monica's timing between the visit to Casa Gilardi and then the Blue House was impeccable. She has a great wealth of knowledge about Barragan, and information that adds to the experience of visiting Mexico City in general. I hope to come back to CDMX and would definitely take another tour with Monica.
