I was born and raised in one of the most authentic district of Venice, Cannaregio. After a degree in languages the love for my city, history and art, brought me directly into the professional world of turism, starting as tour leader/escort in 2008 to then get a license as a tour guide 3 years ago. I think that the beauty of the city is the city itself, the little details, secrets, hidden behind a corner the make Venice so unique. I like to show my clients the various aspects of the city, the showpieces as well as the unknown places, the famous islands and the little ones spreaded around the lagoon. I'm a foodie so another passion is to bring people around "osteria" to taste the local cicchetti(tapas) and wine. And if you want I am happy to customize the tour for you. Please inquire for a quote. Mattia did a fabulous tour with us...all 6 hours or so! We went to Murano and Burano, had lunch, bought some Murano glass! The private water taxi was definitely a well needed transport! He was timely, courteous and professional! Great Job Mattia! Would highly recommend Mattia for Venice touring!
