My name is Charis, and I am a fully accredited guide who loves creating experiences that are as fun as they are meaningful. Fluent in English, and conversational in French and Spanish, I enjoy welcoming travelers from around the world and helping them experience Athens as a living conversation between past and present. Whether it’s tracing myths through marble carvings or sharing stories in the shade of an olive tree, each of my tours invites guests to pause, connect with and immerse in the essence of Greece. My background in Museum Education allows me to transform historical facts into interactive storytelling, hands-on activities, and playful discovery, so guests not only learn, but see, touch, and feel the stories behind the artifacts, making every stop memorable and engaging. What deeds would Homer praise this summer night? What truths might Socrates ponder over a glass of Assyrtiko wine? Outstanding tour by Charis! So nice to have an engaging, knowledgeable local guiding us. We learned a lot, and olive oil/wine tasting (not to mention a bunch of other food) was SO good!

This was a fabulous tour. Charis is bright, knowledgeable and quite the food expert. We had a great tour of the Agora followed by a gourmet spread at a local restaurant. She also provided us with some wonderful restaurant recommendations. We highly recommend her and this tour!
