Aspasia of Athens – Licensed Tour Guide Travel has always been at the heart of my life. Since I was 21, I’ve had the joy of welcoming English-speaking visitors and sharing the beauty, history, and everyday life of Greece. What began as a job quickly became a lifelong passion: helping people truly connect with a place in a meaningful and memorable way. After completing my studies in English and Philosophy, I continued guiding because I love bringing Greece’s stories, traditions, and culture to life in a way that feels engaging and easy to understand. For me, history isn’t just about dates — it’s about the people, the ideas, and the moments that shaped the world we live in today. Athens is a city that never stops inspiring me. Ancient monuments stand alongside lively neighborhoods filled with cafés, markets, and local life. Here, the past and present blend together in a way that feels vibrant, authentic, and uniquely Greek. I trained at the Guiding School of Athens, studying Cultural and Historical Studies and Art History for two and a half years. I hold a European tour guide license that meets EU professional standards (DIN EN 15565) and am a member of both the European Federation of Tourist Guide Associations and the World Federation of Tourist Guide Associations. Every traveler is different. Some guests enjoy in-depth history, others prefer discovering hidden corners, local flavors, or simply soaking in the atmosphere at a relaxed pace. My goal is always to create an experience that feels personal, enjoyable, and stress-free. With over 25 years connected to guiding and cultural education, I bring both knowledge and flexibility to every tour. I took the Athens Highlights Easy Acropolis in the Shade in Athens with Aspasia today the 20 November. It was fabulous tour thanks Aspasia, she spoke perfect English and was incredibly knowledgeable and she shared interesting facts without overwhelming me.
