Hello everyone! My name is Go. I'm here to assist you as your personal navigator, guiding you through the captivating charms of Tokyo, Kamakura, and beyond. Are you planning a trip to Japan? If so, please feel at ease and entrust me with the important task of being your guide.
Are you interested in Japanese culture, cuisine, shopping, shrines and temples, anime, karaoke, and traditional crafts? If so, look no further. I can customize a wide range of experiences, from classic tours around Tokyo and Kamakura to special adventures tailored just for you. Fulfilling your wishes brings me joy.
Before this role, I worked as an automotive-related product engineer for a global company, visiting 25 countries to provide technological and quality guidance. I even lived in Italy and China, gaining valuable experiences. During my travels, I was deeply inspired by the storytelling power of local guides and discovered my passion for showcasing the wonders of Japanese culture to the world.
After returning to Japan, I earned a national interpreter and guide qualification and spent six years volunteering to hone my skills before embarking on a professional guiding career. Currently, I focus on designing unique day trips in Tokyo. I offer a variety of experiences, such as leisurely strolls through charming old-town areas, creating the world's shortest haiku poem, tasting local street food, joining izakaya tours, watching sumo wrestling, and visiting cutting-edge facilities like teamLab Planets and Borderless. Even if you're on a business trip with limited time, I'm here to help you immerse yourself in Japanese culture.
Are you worried about your trip? Don’t be! Customizing trips to match your preferences is my specialty. I’m ready to adapt quickly and confidently to all kinds of requests. In my free time, I enjoy singing Italian canzone and tending to my roses.
Once again, my name is Go, which means “strong” or “gorgeous” in Japanese. It’s easy to remember, isn’t it? So, are you ready to “Go” explore Tokyo together? Let’s do it!
National Government Licensed Guide Interpreter (EN00529 in 2007), English Proficiency Test Level 1, Italian Proficiency Test Level 2 (semi-advanced)
Please note that due to my interpreter guide qualification, I am unable to drive during guiding. However, I can arrange taxis.
