Discover Tokyo: Full Day Walking Tour

My wife and I have been on many tours around the world I have to say the tour with Gulay was one of the best. Gulay G. Was the perfect guide for our group of 6 (4 adults & 2 teenage girls). First, she was well-prepared to guide us through the area of Tokyo we requested to see. She added a starting point that offered an important context for that part of the city. She mixed in historical reference points with contemporary culture and current trends. She was extremely knowledgeable about Japan, its history and demonstrated a clear passion for the country. The most impressive thing about her was how she related to the two teen-age girls. She included them in the conversation and paid astute attention to their needs every bit as much as she did to the entire group.

Gulay is amazing. She suggested our walking tour of Tokyo which was diverse and very creative since we experienced some rain. She is very personable, flexible and extremely knowledgeable. I would highly recommend her as a tour guide!!!

We spent the day with Gulay G, touring around Asakusa, Nakamise Shopping street, Senso-Ji Temple, Akihabara and Yanaka Ginza Shopping street. It was a fantastic tour and Gulay knew and provided so much information on the history of everything. She originally had a different plan for us, but was able to be flexible and take us on a different route when we needed her to. Tokyo is such an incredible city, but it is so large and has so many different areas that it was so nice to have someone who knew the city take us around and point out historical sites, quaint little areas and give us some perspective on what goes on and why in certain areas. I would highly recommend Gulay for your tour of Tokyo. She is filled with knowledge and has a lot of energy to keep us going for the day.
