This standard private tour is for the first time visitors to Tokyo. Tokyo is huge and is impossible to see the whole in a few days. I will take you to the best places, depending on season and weather, according to your preferences. For nature lovers, I spend more time in Meiji Shrine Forest, Hamarikyu Garden, and Imperial Palace East Garden. For history enthusiasts, I explain the transition from feudal society to modern society, by visiting Ueno Park and Imperial Palace. For people interested in Samurai and Ninja, we visit Samurai museums and Ninja experiences. For pop culture explorers, I take you to narrow corridors in Akihabara. If the weather is not good, I can let you enjoy in indoor activities. For Sushi explorers, the authentic Sushi restaurant in Tsukiji is for you. In order to customize the tour best for you, contact me beforehand to discuss. We use public transportations, such as trains, and subways. If you are not willing to walk much, we take taxis. The following is an example itinerary. The places are not limited to those, we may add/delete some upon your request. The itenerary changes depending on the location of hotels. 9:30 Hotel pick up, avoiding the rush hour. You may start earlier - Top of the Tokyo Metropolitan City hall for the 360 degree view of Tokyo from 45th floor (Optional) - Asakusa: Thunder gate with a big lantern, Nakamise shopping street, Sensoji Temple, and Asakusa Shrine - Ueno Park: Toshogu Shrine, Big Buddha, Hanazono Inari Shrine, and Kiyomizu Kannon Temple - Imperial Palace East Garden (Old Edo Castle) - Meiji Shrine with massive wooden gates, surrounded by 100 year old forest - Harajuku and Shibuya area (Optional) Other places I may include are, Shibuya crossing, Harajuku fashion town, Shinjuku Gyoen Garden, Akihabara, Tokyo tower, Fukagawa, Hamarikyuu Garden, and Skytree. A detailed schedule will be provided especially for you, according to the hotel location and your interests.
