5 stars are insufficient to express the rating Yoshi deserves; he literally worked overtime guiding our party of 4! He shared his extensive knowledge of the history and culture of Tokyo and how they've shaped the current values of the people who live here. What he taught us during our first full day in Tokyo enhanced our subsequent visit to Kamakura (where we repeatedly referenced what Yosi said) and no doubt will do the same as we travel to other locations throughout Japan. And did I mention Yoshi is fun! We shared a wonderful traditional lunch where Yoshi tutored several of us in the use of chopsticks, making us all laugh out loud! Despite his vast knowledge, Yoshi remains curious and humble; his curiosity was contagious as he pointed out things in the Japanese Gardens he had not noticed before, likely storing them for future tours! He was also curious about us as people and openly shared information about himself and his family, allowing us to connect on a more personal level and adding depth to conversations about our differing cultures. And last but not least, Yoshi prepared us for navigating the Tokyo subway system, putting us on the right track (both literally and figuratively) for the remainder of our week here in Tokyo. Thank you Yoshi, for the very best introduction to Tokyo; it feels as if we've made a new friend!

Our day with Yoshi was our first in the city of Tokyo and our first in the country of Japan so it was all very overwhelming. Thanks Yoshi for guiding us through it all, we learned some valuable things! You were knowledgable and organized, yet relaxed, a good balance for us first timers. A note to other new arrivals: all the major attractions are spread out, so time consuming to get to, and very very busy. Consider asking to see less well known sights, but ones that have more cultural significance for a truly Japanese experience.

We had a wonderful time! I would highly recommend. We learned lots of history and local culture.
