Quick Tokyo Highlights – 5-Hours Private Car Tour

Hussain is extremely personable and was an absolutely wonderful tour guide for my wife and me (both age 72). He is fluent in 4-5 languages and speaks nearly perfect English. He and his family have lived in Japan for 30+ years, and he knows Tokyo and the country of Japan extremely well. He is familiar with all major sites and landmarks in the vicinity of Tokyo, and we were particularly impressed with the fact that he completely customized a full itinerary during our ridiculously short time period between debarkation from a cruise and our afternoon flight from Haneda. He has a really nice, clean van and was more than helpful in loading and transporting a ton of luggage, to include parking and obtaining a cart to personally escort us to our airline check-in counter after our tour. I have booked many excursions in my life, and I cannot endorse Hussain strongly enough for anyone who might choose to experience Tokyo.

Hussein was the best tour guide. He made sure he connected with us before the tour. He set the itinerary up just as we requested. He was very thoughtful in making sure the tour accommodated a low vision tourist. He spoke really good English.

This was a great way to get an overview of Tokyo, and Hussain did a wonderful job of showing us the highlights. He has tremendous passion for the city that shines through at every stop on the tour, and the custom nature of the tour gave him the flexibility to make sure we hit each of our must-see stops. In my view, the main value of this excursion was to give us a sense of the city and help us plan future time at our favorite places. You could not get a more comprehensive 5 hour Tokyo experience!

Hussain took us on two wonderful days in Tokyo. He helped me plan the right number of activities per day for our party to make sure that my parents and my husband (both of whom can’t do long days with a lot of walking) and I had fun and the “right amount” of activity each day. When he learned how much my husband & I loved music, & specifically the Beatles, he added a stop at a coffee shop in the fish market that John Lennon used to go to when he came to Japan. This was one of the HIGHLIGHTS for us on this tour. The other highlight for me was the open market where I could see different ways fish and food were presented to the public for purchase. We never felt rushed, we never felt like we were dragging him down, and he was very conversational and we enjoyed learning a lot about him, his family and the city in which he lives. Everyone should book with Hussain!!

What an amazing 2 days we had with Hussain! He is so knowledgeable about the area & had a lot of interesting facts about Tokyo as we drove around. He provided 2 days worth of touring that matched our party perfectly. We had a wonderful combination of culture, art, gardens, history, & FOOD! One of the things he did wonderfully well was pick out places to have lunch on each day. One day we went to the fish market and had the most amazing sushi & the second day we went to a ramen place that was fantastic! Hussain was a wonderful partner when I was planning out our 2 days in Tokyo before our cruise. He was patient & read carefully what I wrote to make suggestions for our party. He was never short with me when I had questions & I was very excited to meet him and spend 2 days with him. He’s concerned about our safety and that we had a good time. I would book with Hussain again in a minute!
