Tokyo Highlights - Full Day Private Tour

Another full day tour with Hideki K. completed our stay in Tokyo, and it did not disappoint. In addition to the temples and parks, Hideki took us to a small sushi place (counter seating for maybe 12 people) where one can see the chefs at work. Then there was the walk in Ginza for a view of mid-century houses and shops. And finally the day was capped at teamLab Planet, an immersive museum that is fun for all ages. As we had come to expect, Hideki was his usual delightful self, taking lots of pictures, and making our last day so enjoyable. It was a true pleasure to meet Hideki and have him be our guide in Tokyo; he is simply the best!

On our first full day in Japan, our first tour of Tokyo was with Hideki K. Immediately we knew we were in for a great time. Hideki's knowledge, passion for his country, and his warmth and friendliness all made for an enjoyable day. Hideki had arranged for transportation and was able to show us places we would not have been able to otherwise. That "out of the way" ramen shop that has vegetarian broth, the Rainbow Bridge and replica of the Statue of Liberty were places I wasn't expecting. Yes, the usual sites in Tokyo were seen, but it was the extras that made our day. If you meet only one guide in Tokyo and take only one tour, be sure to include Hideki in your plans.

Hideki was a fantastic guide! We had a full day of seeing the sights and felt we received a well curated tour. The van and driving was exceptional as well. We highly recommend . 10/10

Hideki is a great person with a big heart and lots of local knowledge. We customized my tour so I could see some things that were of specific interest to me like the blooming wisteria and the quieter temples and shrines. Hideki is quite flexible in this way. He arranged for transportation so we could get around more easily and cover more ground in our day together. I highly recommend him.
