TOKYO Half Day Walking Tour - By A Certified National Guide -

We had a very enjoyable and informative day exploring the eastern side of Tokyo with our guide. Our itinerary included the Imperial Palace East Gardens, the historic Yanaka neighborhood and cemetery, several Buddhist temples, Senso-ji Temple, Nakamise shopping street, and the electronics district. Hiro was very knowledgeable and did an excellent job explaining the history and culture of the places we visited. We especially appreciated his explanations of the customs and rituals at the temples, which helped us better understand and appreciate what we were seeing. His English was excellent, making it very easy to communicate and ask questions throughout the day. He was also attentive to our pace and never made us feel rushed, which we greatly appreciated with such a full itinerary. It was a very interesting day and a great opportunity to see several different sides of Tokyo, from its historic temples and traditional neighborhoods to its modern shopping districts. We would definitely recommend him to anyone looking for a knowledgeable and accommodating guide in Tokyo.

My wife and I did a half day tour with Hiro on our first full day in Tokyo. It was a perfect introduction to the city. His knowledge of Japanese history and culture was impressive, and he is a fun guy to talk with. I am amazed at what we learned, and how much territory we covered during our tour. Hiro gave us some great tips and suggestions for things to do while in Tokyo. He also suggested a great restaurant for lunch.
