Tokyo city tailored 8hr private tour

Wow, he was my first ever tour guide, and he set the bar so high. He started guiding me long before I arrived, he set the communication with me through WhatsApp, and guided to prepare me before I arrived. It was my first trip to Japan, we scheduled our guide the day after my scheduled arrival, but nature had other plans and didn’t allow me to arrive as scheduled; because typhoon #6 hit. Mr. Uemitsu Kageyama was so understanding, accommodating, excellent on his quick response, great communicator. We ended up rescheduling for the following day.. He was prompt on time, he had scheduled the tour based on our desired destination, and made sure my daughter got to see the area that she wanted to see , even though it was outside the discussed destinations. He made her day, she was so excited and appreciative of him doing that. He spent more time with us than he was supposed to. He is warm, friendly, knowledgeable, honest, kind, understanding, and intelligent person. His navigation through busy Tokyo made it look so easy. I am so happy that he was my first person to encounter in Japan, and he truly set the bar so high, and I hope my next guide in Kyoto will be able to at least match his experience, knowledge, friendliness, kindness,…………, and honesty. Thank you Mr. Uemitsu Kageyama for everything.

My tour was absolutely epic! My guide was punctual and extremely knowledgeable sharing amazing information and also helping me visit all of the hotspots in Tokyo. It was extremely helpful that he is a photographer just like me and knew all the best places to go to capture photography at its finest in Tokyo. He went above and beyond being so patient with me as there were times when I did grab souvenirs and other items and was extremely understanding. I cannot say enough good things about my tour guide and the next time I go back to Tokyo, I will absolutely sign up for another tour with him and recommend others to take a tour with him.

Our group of four adults spent three days exploring Tokyo (April 3–5, 2026) with our guide, Uemitsu, who was an absolute pleasure to work with and always responded to messages within 24 hours. He helped us break Tokyo into sections so we could really get a feel for this incredible city. Since it was peak Cherry Blossom season, he kept track of the best viewing spots. Always punctual, he met us at our hotel each morning at the agreed time. We used public transportation for our tours which initially felt overwhelming, but he made it simple to understand and navigate. We saw all the major attractions and even discovered some hidden gems we hadn’t planned for. We can’t recommend Uemitsu enough—he’s a fantastic guide and a warm, welcoming person.

Our guide did an amazing job showing us the highlights of Tokyo during our full day tour. Right from the start he communicated with us to ensure we were able to hit the main sites and modified the itinerary to include a magnificent Japanese garden we wanted to tour. I give him the highest recommendation!

We were in Tokyo for cherry blossom season and Uemitsu did a great job showing us some great blooms even though it was a bit rainy and dreary for the day. We were also looking for some gifts for specific anime shows and he helped us hunt them down. We really enjoyed our day with Uemitsu and highly recommend him for others.

We have a great time in Tokyo ! Large city with a lot to do and visit! Our tour guide did great he knew very well the city, we visit each of the places that I Taylor for our tour . I will recommend our tour guide without any reservation you will enjoy the time in that great city of Tokyo!
