In 2005, Shiretoko was added to the list of world heritage sites for the irreplaceable value of the peninsula's ecosystem and biodiversity.

In only one day, In a friendly but safe and caring atmosphere, I will take you to the best spots of Shiretoko national park.

On the way to Shiretoko, we will stop by scenic spots like the "Road to Heaven" & Oshinkoshin waterfalls, and then I will guide you for a hike to Furepe waterfall where Ezo Shika deer are hiding, the wood path trail first lake of Shiretoko Five Lakes. and what I prefer in summer time, enjoy walking in the hot spring Kamuiwakka river.

Kushiro Marshland National Park , the first national park created in Japan, is located near Kushiro in eastern Hokkaido, it is one of Japan's most beautiful and unspoiled national parks.

It's the home of Red-crowned Cranes, once in the brick of extinction and also of winter Northern country wildlife like Ezo Shika deer, White tailed Eagle, Red foxes and the cute snow ball like long tailed tit (Shimaenaga)

Lake Akan Summer 9hr Private Tour from Shari

Akan Mashu National Park, located in eastern Hokkaido, is a vast landscape comprising Japan's largest caldera, volcanoes, forests and lakes.
Lake Akan is a beautiful crater lake in Akan Mashu National Park. It is home to marimo, a rare algae species that forms itself into beautiful green balls. The algae have been designated a National Special Natural Monument.
Two mountains near Lake Akan compliment the scenery and offer some longer hiking courses. Oakan (Male Mountain) and Meakan (Female Mountain) are both volcanoes whose eruptions formed the landscape around Lake Akan. Meakan remains active and frequently emits sulphuric fumes.

Akan Mashu National Park , located near Abashiri in eastern Hokkaido, is one of Japan's most beautiful and unspoiled national parks.
Kiyosato city is located at a 44 degrees latitude, at the same level of Milan , but the climate is extremely different. The temperatures of February can be as low as -20°C (-4°F)

I especially enjoy doing this tour because we are snowshoeing in Kiyosato area, home of Shari Dake mountain, also know as Shiretoko Fuji. Heading to Sakura no Taki waterfall and Kaminoko Ike.
