I spent my university days in Tokyo. At that time, I was always inspired by changing fashions, pop culture and rapid economic growth. Even now, Tokyo has been evolving day by day like a new skyscraper under construction. On the other hand, I found myself relaxed by visiting a quiet garden inside a temple near the university. I was surprised to find there are so many historical sites in this big city. I would like my guests to experience these two aspects of Tokyo. This tour takes you to five popular tourist attractions, Meijijingu Shrine, Tokyo Tower, Tsukiji Wholesale Market, Imperial Palace and Asakusa. While traveling across Tokyo from west to east, you visit a peaceful and tranquil shrine and garden to learn about Japanese traditional culture and history. In addition, you see a 360-degree view of the present Tokyo from Tokyo Tower and also enjoy rapidly changing city and its highlights while strolling around. If you want to travel around Tokyo by yourselves, I will give you some tips for your trip
09:00 AM - Meet up at your hotel 10:00 AM - Meijijingu Shrine: The most famous shrine in Japan, where the spirit of Meiji Emperor (enthroned 1867~1912) is enshrined. Experience some rituals of Shintoism. 11:30 AM - Tokyo Tower (or Tokyo Skytree, Shibuya Sky): The landmark tower of Tokyo. See the bird's eye view of Tokyo. 1:00 PM - Tsukiji Fish Market or Toyosu Wholesale Market: Enjoy lunch. There are many kinds of restaurants and street food shops lined along narrow and busy shopping streets. (They are closed on Sundays and Wednesdays, so in that case, have lunch at Ginza or other places) 2:00 PM - Imperial Palace (or Shinjuku Gyoen Garden): Visit the East Garden of Imperial Palace. See the remains of Edo Caste and learn about Imperial family. 3:30 PM - Asakusa (or Sumida River Cruise): End the day with Asakusa district. Visit Sensoji Temple, the oldest one in Tokyo. Stroll Nakamise shopping street to enjoy shopping and eating. 6:00 PM - Drop off at your hotel. Tour can be customized at your requests.
