We will drive along the scenic coastal road, and we will enjoy splendid views of the Saronic Gulf while passing through some of Athens most beautiful suburbs, like Glyfada, Vouliagmeni, Varkiza and the idyllic beaches. During our trip, we will make many stops, and you will be able to take breathtaking photos. We will visit one of the most idyllic places,the Vouliagmeni Lake,the hidden treasure of Athens. Our next stop is Anavyssos, and a beautiful beach with crystal waters, where you can relax and enjoy the peace, The most beautiful part of the tour is the magnificent Temple of Poseidon in Sounio,perched on the cliffs overlooking the Aegean Sea. You will feel like an ancient Greek, explore the ruins of the temple, and admire the fantastic landscape of the Aegean Sea. In the end of our tour,we can visit a magnificent restaurant in the coast of Pireaus with astonishing sea view to taste seafood
Your Athens tour itinerary
- Pick up from your hotel/accommodation or port - Drive to Glyfada, a magical southern suburb of Athens full of green near the sea. - Head to Vouliagmeni lake, an amazing postcard-like panorama! It's a small brackish-water lake fed by underground currents seeping through the mass of Mount Hymettus - After that we will visit Varkiza, a very beautiful seaside suburb with astonishing beaches - Then Anavyssos. We will drive through idyllic beaches and we'll explore a magical nearby beach, where you can relax by the crystal blue waters and enjoy some refreshments - The last destination is the temple of Poseidon in Sounio, where you will explore the monuments and ruins of Ancient Greece. The temple is dedicated to the god of sea and offers stunning views and rich history from 5th century bc - Return to Athens (I can suggest you a very nice restaurant for dinner) I can customize the itinerary according to your needs
