Bonjour ! I’m Marie-Claire your guide, curator, and devoted hostess in Lyon. Welcoming people is my greatest joy, and sharing the city I adore is my passion. I don’t just show Lyon. I open doors : real doors, hidden doors, to a Lyon only insiders know. Sacred sites rarely accessible, intimate encounters with artists, Champagne in private art studios, meetings with craft artisans in their workshops… I love designing moments that feel like privileges, because they are. With deep local connections and a lifetime spent in Lyon’s artistic and cultural world, I create experiences that are tailored to who you are. I listen carefully, understand what sparks your curiosity and imagine encounters that resonate personally. Portrait : My career has been deeply rooted in the artistic world. I’ve collaborated closely with artists and cultural institutions (operas, museums, festivals…), curated unique events, and developed an eye trained to seek beauty everywhere, in a sculpture, a historic façade, a shared moment. What moves me most, however, is welcoming people. Creating genuine human connection. Making others feel cared for, seen, and inspired. Guiding, for me, is not simply showing a city ; it is curating experiences that celebrate the richness of Lyon’s art, gastronomy, and heritage in ways that touch you personally. Years of involvement in Lyon’s artistic and religious communities have given me something precious: access.
