In Les Halles and in Vieux-Lyon, the perfect pairing between two upmost local traditions : food and silk First stop of this food tour in the worldwide famous market Les Halles de Lyon-Paul Bocuse to taste local product. Wander in the aisles, understand the smell of fruits and brioches, admire the renowned Bresse chickens… You will then head towards the old town for a sweet stop and end on a high note during a private silk demonstration.
• Meet your guide at the food market Les Halles de Lyon • Half of the tour takes place there (2 stops for savoury tastings in two different shops). • Puclic transportation NEEDED towards the old town for next tastings • We stop in Rue du Boeuf for a 45 min / 1h private demonstration of painting on silk velvet with a paintbrush in one hand, and a glass of sparkling wine in the second hand ! ** Not suitable for people who don't eat pork or don't drink alcohol or are allergic to almonds.
