Lyon and the Jews: A History half day tour

Hi everybody, My name's Jean. I am a tour guide in the beautiful city of Lyon, my hometown. I was born and raised there and it is my pleasure to welcome you to this incredible place. What I want is to tell you stories. I believe in the magical power of stories, because no matter where we come from, stories connect us and invite us on wonderful journeys! Stories are universal and carry values that we all cherish, so if you love stories, I am your man. I graduated in Art History and Archeology, but I am passionate about World War II and the history of the Jewish people. I studied also the American Civil War and the world of the impressionists. All this background has helped me to always keep in mind one important thing that my father also told me : history is great when it's shared. My goal is to reveal you the different sides of my hometown, so that you become, at the end of your tour, a real Lyonnais! But of course, I am at your entire disposal if you want to make trips outside Lyon to places such as the Beaujolais Wine Country for instance! Ask me and I will deliver.
