The best products in France are concentrated in this covered market with the 50 most famous vendors and producers: "Mother" Richard and her famous Saint-Marcellin cheese, Colette Sibilia "queen of saucisson de Lyon", and many confectioners or pastry chefs. You are in good hands : I am a FOOD TOUR SPECIALIST! I will take you for this walk from stall to stall in a very warm atmosphere in order to taste the local specialties. We will try to understand the reasons why Lyon is considered as the French capital of gastronomy : its typical casual restaurants ("bouchons"), the female chefs named the "mères lyonnaises" and of course Paul Bocuse's legacy.
