Hello there ! I am Jérémie, full-time tour guide and holder of the professional Tour Guide card. I was born in Lyon in 1990 and I'm still in love with my hometown city. When I was a kid, I spent a lot of time exploring my city, reading stories about it, hearing my grand-mother telling me how the city was when she was my age. That's how you fall in love with a city. When I was 18, I went to University of Lyon to study History. I studied History for five years, lived in Canada for one year, then one year in Australia, came back here, graduated, and became a professional tour guide. Now, I'm working as a full time tour guide in and around my hometown. Best job ever if you ask me, especially when you're passionate about something: telling you all the stories I've learnt that make me think that Lyon and it's surrounding area is the best place in the world. Annecy, the Venice of the Alps
Overview of your Lyon tour
Annecy, often called the Venice of the Alps, is one of the most beautiful places in the Alps. The city lies along a magnificent alpine lake, facing many snowy peaks of La Tournette and les Aravis mountain ranges. Dating back from 4000 BC, Annecy is a very picturesque place with its many canals, old palaces, the castle, medieval alleyways and archways, old bridges and flower-filled window baskets along the water. After the tour in the city, you'll embark for the a cruise on Lake Annecy, the third largest lake in France and "Europe's cleanest lake" since a lot if environmental regulations were introduced in the sixties. The cruise will take you close to all the amazing small villages that stretches along the bank like Duingt, Talloires, Saint-Jorioz. On the way to Annecy, we make a quick break in the amazing village of Perouges

We loved this tour and Jeremie was an outstanding guide! Both Annecy and Perouges were beautiful. Perouges was one of the most interesting and charming villages we've ever been to, both due to the village itself but also due to Jeremie--he was so knowledgeable and had such interesting stories to tell. The drive to/from Lyon and Perouges/Annecy was lovely as well--really enjoyed getting to see the countryside. We would strongly recommend this tour and, specifically, Jeremie--great day all around!

Jeremie was my driver and guide for a fantastic day June 2023. We traveled from Lyon to Perouges and Annecy. He is a very safe driver and added lots of interesting information about our travel route as we drove to our destinations. Our walking tour of both cities was so much fun. He picked out a nice restaurant for lunch in Annecy and arranged for a boat ride on the lake which was a highlight of the day. The beautiful blue color of the lake was definitely best appreciated from the boat ride.
