Hi, I am Olivier, your wine tour guide in Lyon. I started a tour guide company in 2013 to make you discover the beautiful vineyards around the city of Lyon in France. I truly have a passion for wine and history and I communicate it around me, through authentic moments of touring and tasting. Olivier is exceptionally knowledgeable of the region and of wine in general. He gave an excellent overview of the Beaujolais region and took us to a great variety of vineyards. We would highly recommend him and would definitely take a tour with him again.

Olivier was a fantastic guide! He was prompt in picking us up from the train station and was very enthusiastic about all the wine we tasted. He is so knowledgeable and took us to 3 wonderful vineyards as well as to a lovely small restaurant for lunch. It was pleasure to learn from him. I would love to take another tour with him,
Oliver was so friendly and personable and easy to converse with. His knowledge and passion for wine, especially from the Beaujolais region, was genuine and incomparable to anyone we've met before. It was a pleasure asking him questions and listening to his experiences, and he was happy to explore and indulge our curiosities. We learned so much during our tour! Olivier was also elegantly accommodating and made sure we finished our tour on time so we could catch our train back to Paris, without any hint of being hurried or rushed.
Absolutely wonderful tour of Beaujolais with Olivier! The scenery of the region that he chose was spectacular and the three wineries he selected (and their wines) exceeded our expectations. We didn’t know that wines this good were available from Beaujolais. In addition, Olivier was delightful throughout the day, and eagerly shared his expansive knowledge of the region and the wines. His large Mercedes van was clean and comfortable, and we felt safe with his driving. We heartily recommend a tour with Olivier.
If you are looking for a guide for the Beaujolais region, its culture and wine - look no further! Olivier is an extremely knowledgeable and experienced guide. We thoroughly enjoyed our day - interesting, good wine and a guide with a good sense of humor.
After the pick up at your hotel in Lyon, we will drive about 50 min north to the Beaujolais area. We will have a first stop in the region of the crus where the best wines are produced, more precisely in the area of the Fleurie, Villié Morgon or Romanèche Thorens First visit and tasting at 10:00 in the surroundings of Villié Morgon. A good opportunity to talk about the specificities of this wine area, the growing conditions, the grape variety and the wine making technics. You will appreciate the roundness and strength of the wines and the charming authenticity of the people. At the second stop in Fleurie, After the tasting and a short walk in the vines where the panoramic view around the chapel will provide a good spot for a couple of pictures, we will stay at the winery ans enjoy a lunch at the auberge. The last visit and tasting will take place on the afternoon allowing us to complete the discovery of the best crus of the Beaujolais. We will return to Lyon where I will drop you off at you hotel.
