Australia is known for its vast distances, and your guide will show you that many hidden gems lie waiting on the journey from one popular attraction to the next. Spend time exploring Sydney's harbour, then tramp around the scenic Blue Mountains on your way to watch an Aussie Rules football game in Melbourne. The Great Ocean Road is one of the planet's truly great drives, and it's the perfect start to a trek to Uluru (Ayer's Rock) in Australia's other-worldly Red Center.

Traveller reviews in Australia
Former school teacher Leanne is well accustomed to researching and organising. And it showed in how she skilfully took my brief and showed me some architectural and cultural gems in Melbourne's Central Business District. She displayed a good grasp of the city's history since the 1850s, influencing what we see today. We covered a lot in three hours but it never seemed rushed. I've used several Tours By Locals guides in various places. It's tried and proven formula. Leanne did not disappoint! Thank you.

Helen was fabulous. She really explained the history of Sydney and Australia and covered in great detail how the different areas of the city developed. She was very accommodating to our group and was conscious of our various abilities for walking and climbing stairs. Highly recommend!

James is an exceptional guide and communicator. We toured the Great Ocean Road with him. Let's be clear… this requires approximately 12 hours to cover the major highlights. A tour this length requires a great and compatible guide. James was just that. Laid back, extremely knowledgeable and very easy to be with in a vehicle for the entire day. He is passionate about Australian history which he shared with us. We highly recommend him!
