You found me……Hello adventurers, my name is Benjamin. First and foremost, I am a father of three young boys, Louie, William and George and they love adventuring too. Family is everything to me. Tourism, outdoor recreation and building has been my career path here in beautiful Tasmania and around the world. My passions are adventures with family, sharing and introducing Tasmania to friends and visitors. We are lucky to have such diversity of nature landscapes, great hospitality, creative and passionate locals. The way I deliver a tour is perfect for couples and small groups/families. This allows us to intimately discover in-depth discussions, storytelling and capture specific needs and design elements you may have. My goal is to send my guests away inspired, refreshed with lifelong memories and on many occasions leaving with a new Tasmanian friend. I strive for continuous learning in the industry I love and connecting visitors to place and our history. But most importantly, lets have a great day together. With humor, laughter and appreciation of company and surroundings. Credentials . BA in Recreation Management, Tourism and Marketing . Certificate in Outdoor Recreation and Guiding . Licences: Heavy vehicle, medium rigid, public passenger ancillary Working with Vulnerable people Workplace and remote first aid . Certificate in teaching English to foreign language students . Extensive international travel and knowledge of multicultural needs . An extensive network within the tourism industry I hope to see you soon I have just bought a 2019 Toyota Hiace communter GL model, with room for 11 guests comfortably. I also drive (3 guests comfortably), a Toyota Hi Lux dual cab ute. However, it maybe a problem for those guests with mobility problems, getting in and out.

A day on the Peninsula provides our guests with a well balanced Tasmanian experience. Showcasing some of Tasmania's dramatic history, our spectacular wild and woolly coastlines and of course local creative produce. We like to get an early start, this allows a full day on the peninsula that has its advantages. However, we understand our guests are on holiday or just have so many hours. So we can customize this day tour experience, which will target guests interests and needs.

We gladly had Ben for two full day exploration tours on "Tasman Peninsula" and "Bruny Island", both starting in Hobart. As a result, we can hardly envision a more suitable tour guide for those two themes. Ben is with every fibre of his body around in the Hobart and surrounding communities, and knows everything. Not a single question or request remained unanswered. No wonder has he is a genuine Bruny Island resident. At any point during the days we felt absolutely safe. He is a very considerate and farseeing driver. We unconditionally can recommend Ben as your future guide.

We had a delightful day with Ben. Prior to the tour, he contacted us about what we wanted to do and see and knew where to meet. Once the tour started he was extremely knowledgeable about the Tasmanian Pennisula and gave us options. The unzoo was great as were the magnificent views Ben took us to see. We did Port Arthur alone but it was great. The entire time Ben told us about the people and history of the region and so many things. Ben was very thoughtful and brought water bottles and apples. Ben is a 10.

Benjamin Andrews was a great tour guide to the Tasmanian peninsula. We wish we had more time at Port Arthur but that was not a problem since we saw so many other parts of the peninsula including the Unzoo where we saw a Tasmanian Devil that was very high on our list of must sees. We would do this tour again but might budget some extra time at Port Arthur.

Ben is a great guy with a wealth of information about Tassie history and culture. We took a beautiful walk to Crescent Bay and Ben identified native plants and spotted wildlife for us along the way. He has a nice clean van and came prepared with water, snacks, and stories. We had a remarkable day.
Your Hobart tour itinerary
With a Hobart accommodation pickup at 730am, or guests suggested time. 9am. Sightseeing and landmarks. Or straight to Bushwalk. if the bushwalk is your selected morning option. 10am. Visit Port Arthur, if not on a bushwalk. 12/1230pm. Lunch. Local lunch at the Lavender farm. 2pm. Coal mines historical sight, and or slowly head back to Hobart and stop at the wineries or distilleries. OR visit the Unzoo wildlife sanctuary. 4pm. Make our way back to Hobart for a guests accommodation drop off 530pm. I will remain flexible for guests priorities, needs and interests.
