I offer highly customisable tours my mission is to turn your experience on the island as great as it can possibly be. Whether it's the fascinating colonial history, weird and wonderful animals or immersion in the nature. I first came to Tasmania as a 13 year old on holiday from Victoria for 3 weeks at the end of that holiday I told my mum; "I'm going to live here one day" She would of shrugged it off as just something that kids say. The journey to living here wasn't straightforward it included stays in every Australian state bar NSW and even overseas but I'm here now and have developed an affinity with this island that goes far beyond the initial jaw-dropping beauty of the island. I would like to share this attained knowledge developed over hours and hours of research with you. It's easy to run out of adjectives to describe this isle there are hidden nook and crannies around every corner. waterfalls, mountains, towering cliffs and gorgeous beaches are the big ticket items, however just as important to the essence of Tasmania is the clean air with the fresh local produce that we get treated to because of that. I have been working as a tour guide now for 5 years and would love to share all that experience with you. First Aid certificate Public Passenger Vehicle License I have no restrictions in regard to my guiding, I can offer a full range of experiences.

Overview of your Hobart tour

Australia's 2nd oldest city just has the most tangible history it's around every corner. Hobartians are deservedly proud of this great place and it's worth exploring the nooks and crannies with local knowledge to really bring the place to life. Over the 2. 5 hours we will examine every facet of Hobart's early life through to it's present artsy vibe. Gorgeous sandstone architecture mixes with sleek modern contemporary buildings. However, its really the stories of its turbulent past which show how far the modern incarnation has come. Join me as I give you all the dirt on sleazy governors, gambling former kings of Iceland and brazen bushrangers.

Your Hobart tour itinerary

Beginning at the cruise ship terminal on Hunter St we move through the area where the first explorers arrived to. I'll point out buildings of note as we continue towards the CBD visiting statues of some former governors entering Hobarts first burial site. Afterward we hit the gorgeous streets of Battery Point moving past old whalers mansions. Hospitals where one of the world's most famous actors was born. Stopping off to sample the delicious wares of the Jackman and McRoss a Hobart institution of renown. Pretty parks with very well-manicured gardens are the highlight following our stop. We see a very old style of messaging before meandering through the art galleries of the famous Salamanca strip. We terminate our walk once more at the cruise terminal.
