I offer highly customisable tours my mission is to turn your experience on the island as great as it can possibly be. Whether it's the fascinating colonial history, weird and wonderful animals or immersion in the nature. I first came to Tasmania as a 13 year old on holiday from Victoria for 3 weeks at the end of that holiday I told my mum; "I'm going to live here one day" She would of shrugged it off as just something that kids say. The journey to living here wasn't straightforward it included stays in every Australian state bar NSW and even overseas but I'm here now and have developed an affinity with this island that goes far beyond the initial jaw-dropping beauty of the island. I would like to share this attained knowledge developed over hours and hours of research with you. It's easy to run out of adjectives to describe this isle there are hidden nook and crannies around every corner. waterfalls, mountains, towering cliffs and gorgeous beaches are the big ticket items, however just as important to the essence of Tasmania is the clean air with the fresh local produce that we get treated to because of that. I have been working as a tour guide now for 5 years and would love to share all that experience with you. First Aid certificate Public Passenger Vehicle License I have no restrictions in regard to my guiding, I can offer a full range of experiences.

Walking through the idyllic scenery of Port Arthur today it's nigh on impossible to be able to get any semblance of what it must have been like to be a prisoner 170 years ago. Through the stories I will relate to you, you will gain an appreciation for how difficult life must have been for these poor souls. We'll drive around to hear the crashing waves carving out caves in the sea-cliffs, carving out large tunnels we will see mother natures handiwork and all her carvings amongst the layers of sandstone. Inspect the convict's handiwork at the coal mines they carved out by hand. As we explore this evocative unspoiled landscape, you may catch a faint echo of those long-departed men toiling in the dark, and experience something of the isolation and hardship that they endured.
Initially, we will explore thoroughly the Port Arthur Historic Site including the separate prison designed to fully breakdown the rebellious spirits of the prisoners sent here. A cruise that will take us around the harbor explaining along the way about the boys' prison and the Isle of the Dead. We will have lunch on-site at the Port Arthur café (lunch at own expense) Next, we reach Tasman Arch and Devil's Kitchen superb landforms carved out by the relentless wave action over millions of years. Eaglehawk Neck and the infamous dog-line await as we make our way over to the tessellated pavement a quite spectacular landform that you'll swear had to have been man-made. We return by 4pm
