Brisbane, the laid back capital of Queensland, is located between the famous Gold and Sunshine coasts. It boasts stunning natural assets under clear blue skies. This world-class metropolis is surrounded by a variety of suburban neighbourhoods. Beyond the suburbs subtropical hinterlands beckon locals and visitors.

From the start you will enjoy expansive city and river views. Leaving the suburbs we come to the perfect picture Samford Valley and Village. The road to Mount Glorious winds its way through unspoiled rainforest. You will hear the unique sound of the Bell Bird and enjoy the enticing scent of typical Aussie bushland. After a welcome coffee and snack at the summit cafe you can take a lush rainforest walk with stunning views of Lake Wivenhoe. In 1984 the Brisbane City Council made an inspired decision to resurrect the south bank for World Expo 1988. This insured that Brisbane would emerge as a vibrant world-class city.

The Southbank Parklands boasts spectacular riverfront views, sprawling lawns, a blossoming arbour, and a host of other fascinating sights and sounds.
This former industrial sight was transformed to host the World Expo in 1988. Since then the site has undergone total transformation to become the iconic green space it is today. You will hear interesting behind-the-scenes stories about the park's design and evolution as we wander through picturesque pathways. Our walk will start at the Epicurious Garden end as we meander along the river front through the Cultural Precinct to the State Library and the Gallery of Modern Art (GOMA). A 1 hour drive from Brisbane will find us exploring the wonders of rare sub-tropical forests at Mount Tamborine National Park, including some of the most stunning sub-tropical forest walks at tree-top level on the Tamborine Skywalk, with spectacular views and gorgeous waterfalls. We will visit the spectacular Curtin Falls before some optional souvenir shopping on Gallery Walk, followed by a light lunch at the iconic Monkey Tree Restaurant. After lunch we will be ready to take in the amazing panorama from the famous hang gliding launch site on Main Ridge Road. Then it will be a steep drive down the mountain with spectacular views as we head to the country village of Canungra.

We head to the world-famous Gold Coast with it's pristine surf beaches including a walk on Main Beach at Surfers Paradise and the famous Cavill Mall. Then a coffee break and snacks at the SkyPoint Observation Deck,  located on Level 77 of Q1 and rises a sheer 230 metres into the sky. You will enjoy unsurpassed 360 views that extend from the surf to the hinterland and beyond.
Then to Charis Seafoods, the best fresh and cooked seafood family business on the Gold Coast. Near to 100 pelicans are feed daily and you can enjoy  a tasty fish and chip lunch. 
We now head to the Tamborine Skywalk where you will experience the world renowned Gondwanna sub-tropcial forests at tree-top height.
