By studying archaeology and history at university, I have plenty of great stories to share. With years of guiding experience in Australia and overseas, I know how to make tours fun, engaging, and full of local insight. Join me and see Sydney through the eyes of a true local who loves every bit of it. Your Sydney tour begins with breathtaking views over the harbour, followed by a walk through The Rocks, Sydney’s historic convict settlement. We head up Macquarie Street to uncover colonial history & stories. Afterwards, we visit Mrs. Macquarie’s Chair for stunning views & stroll through the beautiful Botanic Gardens, to visit the iconic Opera House. We will end at Circular Quay, where you can find lunch, coffee, drinks and shopping or return you to your ship.

By the time we got to Sydney Harbour and The Rocks, it was clear she had an in-depth knowledge of the area’s history and we were lucky to have her share it with us. It is our favorite kind of tour. To top it off, she recommended dinner on the harbor and helped ensure we would have a waterfront table to enjoy the Vivid Sydney display. It was a magical experience! I’ll meet you at your hotel or ship to kick off our adventure. • We start with a walk to a stunning lookout over Sydney Harbour—perfect for photos and to find out how Sydney started. • Then we explore The Rocks, Sydney’s oldest neighbourhood, rich with convict history and hidden laneways. • From there, we head up Macquarie Street, a heritage-listed stretch filled with civic buildings and stories, including Hyde Park and St Mary’s Cathedral. • Next, we visit the famous Mrs. Macquarie’s Chair for one of the best harbour views in Sydney. • A peaceful walk through the Royal Botanic Gardens brings us to our final stop—the iconic Sydney Opera House. • We’ll explore the Opera House’s remarkable exterior and public spaces while uncovering the story behind its unique design.* • Tour ends at Circular Quay *Please note: internal tours of the Opera House theatres are only conducted by their official guides.
