You found me……Hello adventurers, my name is Benjamin. First and foremost, I am a father of three young boys, Louie, William and George and they love adventuring too. Family is everything to me. Tourism, outdoor recreation and building has been my career path here in beautiful Tasmania and around the world. My passions are adventures with family, sharing and introducing Tasmania to friends and visitors. We are lucky to have such diversity of nature landscapes, great hospitality, creative and passionate locals. The way I deliver a tour is perfect for couples and small groups/families. This allows us to intimately discover in-depth discussions, storytelling and capture specific needs and design elements you may have. My goal is to send my guests away inspired, refreshed with lifelong memories and on many occasions leaving with a new Tasmanian friend. I strive for continuous learning in the industry I love and connecting visitors to place and our history. But most importantly, lets have a great day together. Licences: Heavy vehicle, medium rigid, public passenger ancillary Working with Vulnerable people Workplace and remote first aid . Certificate in teaching English to foreign language students . Extensive international travel and knowledge of multicultural needs . An extensive network within the tourism industry I hope to see you soon I have just bought a 2019 Toyota Hiace communter GL model, with room for 11 guests comfortably. I also drive (3 guests comfortably), a Toyota Hi Lux dual cab ute. However, it maybe a problem for those guests with mobility problems, getting in and out.

This Tour really is a great option for your first visit to Hobart. We visit some of the most scenic and historic locations surrounding Hobart, to get views from all angles along the Derwent River and Mt Wellington. Whether we are walking through the diverse landscape of the botanical gardens or strolling the street of old Battery point, I like to bring relevant stories to the surface to help with setting the scene. Hobart is based on both sides of the river Derwent and because of this, we have a great relationship and culture of spending time on the water, at leisure sailing, fishing or at work. Like most towns or cities with waterways, it was and is our lifeline right back to our indigenous, the original custodians of this land. Our private tours allow the guests to spend time focusing on their interests, whether you are chasing that perfect photo opportunity or in search of some family heritage connections. Our day with Benjamin was above our expectations. Benjamin was very flexible as to how to structure our day. He was very knowledgable and was able to provide a vast knowledge of history being a local. We would highly recommend using Benjamin for your tour day in Hobart.

We were a party of 4 adults with a cruise stop in Hobart. As we wanted to 'see it all', this Hobert Highlights tour encompassed everything! Tim was our guide/driver for the day and a pleasure to spend time with. Tim met us at the port and got to know us a bit on the way to our first stop. Although we knew what the day would encompass, Tim tailored the day to suit us. Asking us questions along the way, he determined where we should have lunch and a spot for and afternoon ice cream. All of the places we stopped where worthwhile, even though we didn't get a view from Mount Wellington because of the low clouds, it was worth the drive up.
What a fantastic tour Benjamin provided. We squeezed in as much as we could during our one day in Hobart. He is super knowledgeable and it was a joy listening to all the history of Hobart. We are foodies and wanted to try Scallop pie, he took us to the best little cute place and it was not a disappointment. We would definitely recommend that you take a tour with Benjamin. Battery Point, one of the oldest communities in Hobart, with rich history and quaint architecture. South Hobart, travel through the foothills of Mount Wellington and realize its history. Such as the Cascade Brewery. Mount Wellington, a gentle walk at the springs then head to the top for breath taking views across Hobart and the Derwent River. Botanical Gardens, experience the old, new and introduced natives species, while strolling through one of the oldest gardens in Australia. Optional, Waterfront walk, finish the day with an inspiring walk amongst the sandstone, cafes and boats. Put yourself in the stories from our past and recognize our future. Time: 8:30 - 4:30pm minimum 2 - maximum 10 .
