I love getting out and about in my city of Melbourne. I love classic cars - finding them, restoring them, driving them and sharing them. I love meeting people - from all walks of life. And I love the prospect of creating individual tour and travel experiences that combine all of these things! Having travelled a good deal overseas, nationally, interstate and regionally I have come to appreciate the difference that local knowledge and a unique perspective via private touring can give to a holiday or celebration experience - and I have been developing my skills as an operator now for several years . . . changing hats from being a customer to becoming a host. :) By way of background, I strive to enjoy a world full of meaning, value, joy, humour and richness through the things I do and the people I spend time with . . . and this goes to being in the outdoors; enjoying a good meal and nice wine (also whisky after hours); discussing the ways (good and bad) of the world; staring up at the sky or out at the ocean; hanging about with my family, friends and neighbours; or simply reading the newspaper or a decent book. And, of course, finding a little time each week to have a wrench in my hand! My aim is to provide interesting, unique, relaxed (cruise), fun and informative experiences for my guests. Our Yarra Valley wine tour was an unforgettable experience from beginning to end. We enjoyed exceptional sparkling wines on one stop, tasted beautiful varietals at another, explored wonderfully crafted gins at a local distillery and treated ourselves to indulgent chocolates and coffee at two delightful artisan stops. Each place offered its own charm and our John tied it all together with deep knowledge, warm personality and a genuine passion for the region. Adding to the magic was traveling in John’s immaculate vintage car! So striking that we drew admiring looks everywhere we went, with strangers even stopping to snap photos. We absolutely loved the attention and felt like VIPs the whole day - complete with our own paparazzi.

This was a really fun day. We enjoyed cruising around in the 56 Chevy 4 door hardtop, and his knowledge of wineries. He was very accommodating and continually amending our tour to tune it to what mattered most to us. It was also fun to chat with another car enthusiast. A great day overall.

We had a beautiful day with John. He took us to a cheese tasting with Coffee, a great wine tasting at Yarra Station, a gin tasting at Four Points, and another wine tasting at Medhurst. He was quite friendly and we enjoyed our day!
