Hi there! I'm Paul - a 3rd generation born and bred Perth Local. I'm a wine, whiskey and food lover who is passionate about sharing the very best local experiences - so that you can see our City from a local's perspective, and get a taste of why Perth is such a great place to live, eat and drink. I've been running private tours here in Perth and the South West of Western Australia since 2017. I started my own business after working in an office for 20 years, and I decided to follow my passion for travel, food and discovery rather than being stuck behind a desk every day. After all, Perth has 300 days of sunshine a year - why not make the most of it? Having grown up in Perth, I love showing people around my home town and giving my guests a real, authentic experience - taking them to hidden gems and places that I personally love to visit in my own free time. Overview of your Perth tour
Indulge in incredible food and wine experiences, immerse yourself in the pristine natural environment and go on amazing adventures all while taking in the spectacular vistas of farmland, wine country and the coast. This tour is fully guided, not simply a driver service, and I understand that everyone has different interests and their own style of travel. As this is a private tour just for you, your exact itinerary for the day will be customised accordingly. This is a two day tour (approximately 300kms of driving each day), with door-to-door pick up and drop off. Departing your Perth Accommodation at 8am on Day 1, you'll arrive back in Perth City at approximately 6. 00pm on Day 2. Accommodation in a studio apartment in Margaret River town is included, with the evening at your leisure to explore the local bars and dining options. *Please let me know if you'd prefer to make your own accommodation arrangements
Your Perth tour itinerary
My suggested itinerary for this tour; Day 1 • Depart Perth for the 3 hour journey south, stopping for a coffee break • On arrival, visit the dramatic Canal Rocks • Enjoy a private guided wine tasting at the Vasse Felix cellar door, before indulging in a three-course lunch in their highly awarded restaurant overlooking the vineyards • After lunch, taste award-winning wines at a second winery • Free time to explore Margaret River town and check in to your accommodation Day 2 • Visit the beautiful Jewel Cave for a guided tour • Take a scenic coastal drive to some picturesque spots including Prevelly Beach, Surfer's Point (where the World Championship surfing events are held) and the Margaret River Mouth, where the river meets the ocean • Enjoy lunch at a local craft brewery restaurant (a la carte - own expense on the day) • Finish the day with a stop in Busselton to view the iconic Busselton Jetty with a local wine, beer or coffee • Depart for Perth, arriving back at your City accommodation approximately 6pm
