Travel has been my passion and occupation for the last 30 years. After finishing school, I embarked on a trip to Europe and the travel bug bit me hard. On returning home, I gave up my university entry to study languages and instead joined the national airline. When it was time to be a mum, I opened my own travel agency, which I successfully operated for 20 years. I did many travel courses and lots of travel too! Now I am an authorised driver guide in the beautiful city of Sydney. For me travel is an experience to be savoured by all your senses. I want my visitors to get a strong sense of what it is like to live and play in this harbour city and so besides visiting the icons, we venture to magnificent harbour parks, where locals hang out so often you can get to engage with them. I love the blend of cultures and traditions in Sydney and in celebration of that, I offer a Jewish Heritage Tour of Sydney. Travel is an experience to be savoured so the fragrant memory of a special day lingers on.

This walking tour is a wonderful way to get to see the best of our beautiful harbour city or CBD as we affectionately call her. We take in the Historic Rocks where European Settlement began. Next is Circular Quay, home to our Main Ferry Terminal which hugs the water. and affords wonderful views of our famous Harbour Bridge. The Sydney Opera House is our next port of call and we get up close to this Icon to make photo memories. We spend time soaking up the atmosphere before entering the Botanical Gardens. Macquarie street is home to our Historic Buildings and we can enjoy all the different architectural styles of the State Library, Parliament, Rum Hospital, Mint and Hyde Park Barracks before enjoying a rest in the shade of one of the many trees in Hyde Park.
Our beautiful city is best explored on foot to get into all the quirky nooks and crannies that you would otherwise miss. We begin in the heart of the Heritage listed Rocks, where European settlement began back in 1788.This is when our First fleet arrived and we walk in the footsteps of our Convicts and British soldiers. Time for a coffee stop at one of the outdoor cafes, great for people watching. We walk along Circular Quay to the Iconic Sydney Opera House to get up close for wonderful photo shots. Nothing says Sydney quite like the Opera House with our famous Harbour Bridge as a backdrop. We walk into the Botanical Gardens towards Macquarie street, home to our first Historic buildings.: The State Library of NSW, The Parliament of NSW, The Rum Hospital, Mint and Hyde Park Barracks before we enter beautiful Hyde Park for a well deserved rest in the shade of the huge trees. before returning to your hotel.
