Hi I’m Cara, I’ll be your local guide and host while you’re here in Western Australia. Tourism has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up working for my family’s international trekking business guiding travellers to incredible destinations and summits across the globe. With a collection of experiences and adventures under my belt I’m now privileged to own and operate my own tourism business right here in my own backyard from Perth in Western Australia. Of all the incredible places I’ve visited around the world, Western Australia is somewhere I’m incredibly proud to call home. From our rugged coastline and wide open landscapes to tiny country towns, ancient natural wonders and spectacular wildflowers, there’s always something new to discover — even for a local. My tours are small, personal and authentic. The experience is more like spending the day exploring with an old friend than being on a tour dictated by a timetable. We take our time, stop when something catches our eye and enjoy the little unexpected moments along the way. I believe in good old fashioned customer service, genuine local hospitality and taking the time to really experience a place. And more often than not, I believe the journey is just as good as the destination. I look forward to welcoming you on board, Your guide, Cara

The adventure to Wave Rock is a 650km (plus) roundtrip from Perth taking us through the wide open landscapes, rolling farmlands, and the charming country towns of outback Western Australia. Wave Rock, is one of Western Australia's most iconic natural wonders, making it well worth the drive. It rises 15 metres high and stretches over 100 metres in length. The journey is about more than just reaching Wave Rock. Its an opportunity to discover the ever changing landscapes, rural character and historic country towns of the Wheatbelt region. If your booking end of July through September you'll see the bright yellow canola fields in bloom, bookings made during spring offer opportunities to view our wildflowers lining the county roads. On the way home we detour via the Tin Horse Highway, a collection of outback art made from recycled farming materials. Ballerinas made from 'junk' and a gigantic tin horse are some examples of the unique country sculptures on display.
- Walk beneath the the 2.7 billion year old granite Wave Rock sculpted by millions of years of weathering and erosion. Add in another perspective by taking the optional walk to the top for panoramic views across the surrounding Wheatbelt landscape. - Visit Hippos yawn, which is just as it sounds. At over 12 meters tall this rock resembles a giant hippopotamus opening its mouth, making a perfect photo opportunity. - Our lunch stop is at the Wave Rock cafe (at guests own expense) - Optional activities can include; * Historic York township (good for a morning coffee stop) * Corrigin Dog cemetery - a tribute to mans best friend * 4km Corrigin Wildflower drive * Lake Magic salt lake * Mulka's Cave - an Aboriginal cultural site with ancient hand stencils and rock paintings Optional activities at travellers expense; * Wave Rock wildlife park * Lace Place antique lace collection * Miniature Soldier Museum
