I live with my family in the middle of Amsterdam and we still enjoy the city every day. With my own consultancy firm I work with people from all over the world. It is so much fun to meet new people with completely different backgrounds and hearing their stories. My family and I also have great memories of our three year stay in Charlotte, North Carolina.

I'm passionate about history, culture and art to feel and understand the choices made by people and to discover their stories that affect our lives today.

If ever I'd need to stay on a deserted island, I'd definitely bring my jazz music, saxophone, mountain bike, great beers and cheese.

I'll pick you guys up from your Passenger Terminal and we'll hop on our bus to go to the Zaansche Schans windmills. Piet Kempenaar's windmill is great and we can go in and enjoy an authentic, working windmill. You can taste some cheese and enjoy a wonderful typically Dutch countryside. Then we'll head back to Amsterdam. We'll strolling through old town, the canal area and exciting sites. We'll walk through the centuries. I'll show you where famous Amsterdammers lived. We'll take our time to see wonderful canal houses, gorgeous brown cafés and cute alleyways. You will be inside 17th, 18th century and contemporary Amsterdam. During our city walk we'll grab lunch on an outside terrace and we'll jump on our private boat sailing through the canals. You will get to know the city very well.

A Full and Relaxing Day at the Zaansche Schans windmills, a boattour and Amsterdam citywalk

I'll pick you up at your hotel at 7. 30AM to be early birds around 8AM/8. 30AM at the Keukenhof Gardens depending on traffic. We'll spend around 2 hours at the Keukenhof. That will allow us to see everything and stroll through the gardens in a relaxed way. On our way to the Zaansche Schans we can choose a nice scenic route: to see the flower fields. At the wonderful Zaansche Schans we can enjoy a typical Dutch small town and its wonderful working windmills. I personally love Piet Kempenaars' pigment mill. And we'll physically go into the mill. I also love the woodcutting mill Het Jonge Schaap. On our way we'll grab something to eat and drink whenever we want. We have a lot of options. Perhaps a Dutch pancake?

A Short Day to Keukenhof Gardens and the Zaansche Schans village

Our first leg in Amsterdam! Checking out the Top-30 pieces at the Rijksmuseum and enjoy the fantastic van Gogh collection at the van Gogh museum. We'll grab a convenient tram and will take it easy. I'll guide you the through the large Rijksmuseum to the wonderful Hall of Fame of Dutch Masters and will bring you back to the terminal.
