Best way to see Amsterdam: Pick 2 museums of your choice and we'll do a one hour private canal cruise on a 1922 salon boat with our own captain inbetween! Walda took me on a wonderful tour of the Rembrandt Huis because I had been on a Van Gogh Museum tour already. She is a treasure trove of information, and very amiable. She took my questions seriously which made me want to know more. Then we had a boat canal to the Rijks Museum. We spent lots of time there. She gave me exactly what I set out to get. Can't say enough great things about Walda and this tour. She is an expert at all things in the Amsterdam art and architecture worlds. We learned so many things about Van Gogh from her. Her gentle pace was just right to provide us with information and then allow us time to really appreciate the connection with the art. The canal boat ride was exceptional and just what we needed after the Van Gogh Museum. The boat was fantastic, exclusive, enjoyable. She was flexible and allowed us to extend the ride in lieu of the second museum, but then viewing Amsterdam from the boat at a leisurely pace as we did was just as much a museum tour as the Rijksmuseum. We would definitely take this tour again and may very well do so in the future.

Great tour. We saw the highlights and the most desirable items first, bypassed lesser items and learned so much backstory on Van Gogh, Rembrandt, Vermeer, van ruisdale, Hal’s, etc.

There are drinks onboard for fair prices (not included) and for an extra fee we can do a longer canal cruise with luxury lunch onboard! The captain will pick us up at one museum and, after an hour, drop us off at another museum. Other transportation (tram, taxi) is not included in the tourprice.
