Hello! A very warm welcome in the country of my forefathers, the Netherlands. Come and discover this magnificent piece of the world at best, with a genuine trustworthy Dutch born friend. That is how I like to present myself, a true friend of you. Emphasizing that your safety and wellbeing is number one on the list. Ofcourse right beside having a magnificent time exploring the wide variety of deeply interesting places. I know this country, where my familytree goes back all the way to the beginning. Let me show you how we live, what we do, wooden shoes, bicycles, windmills and much more particularities. Visit the wellknown highlights, but also enjoy places where tourists do not come. I take great pride in my country, of which almost half is below sealevel. Experience the Netherlands like a Dutchman, and understand our everlasting fight to the water. Along with numerous landmarks and specialties this makes a visit very worthwhile and a top notch experience. Also private tours to or from Amsterdam Schiphol Airport to Rotterdam area. Enjoy the safety of a private tour in a accomodating friendly atmosphere to your cruiseship or hotel in the Rotterdam area. Airport tours from Schiphol Airport southbound (Belgium) possible. I hold all appropiate licenses in the Netherlands and the rest of Europe. My character is open, friendly and accommodating. Flexibility is a keyword, as is honesty and kindness. I am a people person. Most of my tours include the well known highlights. However I like to encourage you to visit the lesser known destinations. There is so much more to see and experience in the more rural areas. Generally these areas are also less crowded. If there is a specific destination you like to visit, let me know. I can customize a tour to your wishes. My goal is to provide a wonderfull experience for you, which brings fun and facts, but above all a wonderful memory to take home. Let me be your local eye and give you the inside information which can only be given by a local born. Come join me! Safety, reliability and giving you a good time are my top priorities. Have the luxury of your own private tour with pick up at Schiphol Airport. This tour is designed for travellers who arrive at Schiphol Airport with destination Rotterdam (e.g. cruise terminal). Or the other way around. From the airport we will take a scenic route along Keukenhof area towards Rotterdam. Visiting the Hague or/and Delft or/and Rotterdam. The Hague is where the Dutch government resides. Experience the Dutch liberal stance in this political melting pot. Den Haag (Dutch for the hague) is also known for the International Peace Palace and the International court of Justice. Delft brings you back in ancient times. Delft has its own old crooked church tower, the famous Delft Blue pottery and numerous old buildings. The city has magnificent hotspots and it’s own canals. Rotterdam is the largest seaport of Europe. Due to its history (WW2) the city has a lot of contemporary architecture, is vibrant, known for the cubehouses and its own 'Horn of Plenty' (Market hall).
Pieter, was great picked us up at the airport and we had no set itinerary and he showed us several interesting sites. After a day of sightseeing he took us to our hotel in Rotterdam and helped us with our luggage. I would definitely recommend Pieter. Larry Pittman
We totally could've just zipped straight from the cruise ship to our hotel in Amsterdam, but there were just so many places on our list that we wanted to check out. Pieter totally made it happen for us to check them out, and he had some awesome local stories to tell! He guided us way beyond the typical tourist spots to a few local spots and even let us take a little detour if something cool caught our eye along the way.
I am glad I reached out to Pieter to schedule this tour. Pieter was responsive all the days leading up to my arrival and reassured me that we would have a great day, delving into the sights, sounds, and tastes of the Netherlands. He was prompt picking me up on the airport and off we went to explore the country. Pieter was an excellent driver! We were able to see 4 different cities during our travels, building a meaningful connection along the way. Next time I go to the Netherlands, Pieter will be my first call. Thanks again for such a great time and I look forward to seeing you again! Book this tour, you will be glad you did!
Family of three spent a terrific day with Pieter. He picked us up at the Sheraton Schiphol and visited Delph (including a walking tour), toured around The Hague, visited Rotterdam (including a walking tour), and were dropped off at the Rotterdam port for our cruise. Pieter was insightful, pleasant, accommodating, and funny. In addition, he was very responsive to all our pre-tour queries. I strongly recommend spending a memorable day with Pieter.
Pieter was a wonderful guide, making our private tour truly unforgettable. We started with the iconic windmills, then admired the beautiful daffodil-filled fields before exploring charming Gouda. His knowledge, engaging stories, and thoughtful recommendations—like the lovely outdoor lunch spot—made the day seamless and enjoyable. If you’re looking for a top-notch tour guide, Pieter is highly recommended!
