The Hague Walking Tour: The Real Capital of The Netherlands

Discover the beauty Holland has to offer, without all the crowds. During this walking tour I will take you trough The Hague. A town that started growing around a 13th century former court of the Counts of Holland. For what reason is the government of the Netherlands located in this city? When did we lynch our "prime minister"? Why do Dutch people jest that The Hague is a village?

You will learn everything and more during this walk. The Hague is also one of the most picturesque places in the Netherlands with cosy squares, many canals and 2 imposing churches. One gothic one from the 14th century which has a perculier 6 sided tower, and one from the Dutch golden age, built when we started being protestant. We will also stroll past the parliament, a very intriguing building complex. And see where the Prime minister has his office.
