We had a lovely tour with Ravil. It was our desire to customize our tour and see smaller villages and more rural areas. Ravil delivered on this request. We visited three smaller villages and were able to stroll the central areas in each one giving us a good feel for how people really live. These were villages that did not draw a lot of tourists. We also visited a working windmill we could tour - again off the beaten path. Ravil had a great deal of historical information as well as willingness to share his experiences as a long- time resident of the Netherlands. He took us to an absolutely charming inn for lunch. We also appreciated his careful driving, pacing of the tour and flexibility.. The length of this tour was perfect!! We would highly recommend. Ravil was knowledgeable, personable and willing to adjust to our interests.

In the winter months, you’ll regularly find me exploring Southeast Asia, which keeps reminding me what it’s like to be a visitor in a foreign country. A few practical notes: we travel in my modern SUV, comfortable for up to four passengers; for larger groups, I can arrange a minivan. I guide in English, Dutch and Russian, hold an official Amsterdam guiding permit, and am registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce.

It is a wonderful place where historic windmills, green wooden houses, and traditional crafts bring old Dutch history to life. Together, we will stop by a local cheese farm for some tastings, watch a craftsman make wooden clogs, and—if you are up for it—step inside a working windmill.After Zaanse Schans, the day is yours to shape. If you enjoy a lively atmosphere, we can head to the fishing village of Volendam for harbor views and a local treat. But if you prefer something quieter, I would love to show you Edam. It is one of my absolute favorite towns, full of quiet canals and a truly peaceful local vibe.

Racial was a great guide ! He was knowledgeable, friendly & outgoing, and was very considerate of us as seniors who moved at a bit slower pace. His suggestions of places to stop that would be of interest to us were spot-on. We enjoyed the open air museum and loved our visit to Edam. Even just driving the country roads traversing the reclaimed lands was a unique experience we really appreciated. A WONDERFUL TIME !!!

Ravil arranged a custom tour for us. The tour he arranged for us was perfect. He is friendly and very knowledgeable. The highlight of the tour was traveling from Rotterdam to Amsterdam to see the Church our ancestors were married in on a September day in 1691.
We had a great private tour with Ravil last week! He picked us up promptly by our hotel, dropped us off at Keukenhof and then picked us up there for a couple more hours of sightseeing in the countryside. He was very interesting!
