We had a fantastic time with Dina. She was able to pick us up at the cruise port and then transported us to Zaanse Schans. It was wonderful to have our private guide to explain all the history and get us front row seats to the demonstrations. She was very knowledgeable about the history of this beautifully preserved site. It was great to hear the explanations of the displays rather that having to read everything. We had time to explore on our own if we wanted to and then had a nice lunch in the village across the canal. She dropped us off at our hotel at the end. It was a perfect post cruise tour.

Our tour was delightful, in spite of the heat! Getting picked up at the hotel in a comfortable car and enjoying the scenery on the way was a bonus. Zaanse Schans is definitely worth a visit - seeing the windmills and technology up close is fabulous. Not only is Dina a fun and knowledgeable guide, she's also excellent at finding the shortest lines and quickest path between highlights.
