Giethoorn fairytale village Day Private Tour n' Private Canal ride

Dina picked us up at the airport and took us to a delightful family run farm where we saw a wooden shoe making demonstration and a presentation on Gouda cheese making (taste testing included!). The owners of the 4th generation farm were warm and welcoming and a joy to meet. From there, we headed to Geithoorn. What a fun experience it was to have Dina captain us through the canals of this lovely picturesque community. Dina’s knowledge and conversation filled the day. This tour was the best introduction to Amsterdam! We couldn’t have asked for a better day!

I absolutely loved Giethoorn! Describing it as a fairytale village is totally accurate. Even though we had to deal with rain the day we were there, Dina was able to make some adjustments to the tour to allow us to have a great visit. Dina is very knowledgeable on a wide variety of subjects and is so personable! I highly recommend booking this tour!

Geithoorn is lovely, however, arrive early to avoid crowded canals. Many visitors choose to pilot the boat, but I recommend choosing an experienced captain to navigate the canals, allowing you to fully enjoy the scenery, stress free. Dina, our guide, was not only adept at maneuvering the boat, but she was also entertaining, knowledgeable and personable. Though the day started with some challenges for Dina, she made sure the rest of our day was a comfortable, enjoyable experience.

Had a great tour with Dina in a quaint village that is a must see. Dina was very accommodating and personalized it to our wishes as we added a castle tour on the way back to Amsterdam. Thank you Dina for a great day.
