Nestled in the northeastern province of Overijssel, Giethoorn is a car-free haven known for its tranquil waterways, picturesque footpaths, and charming bicycle trails. With its centuries-old thatched-roof houses and quaint gardens, Giethoorn offers a magical escape that feels like stepping into a storybook. Enjoy a private boat tour with your knowledgeable guide as the captain, navigating the serene canals, on a private electric boat. Have lunch at a scenic location and enjoy a walk, there are great shops to visit, with stones and fossils and lots more. If you wish to see more on your day out the city, (+ 3 hours) we can also add the following : - Dairy Farm/ Gouda Cheese and Wooden Clogs or - Batavia, is a 1600s VOC ship replica or - Castle Muiderslot or - Dutch traditional Windmill *Having an early start, we will avoid the crowds.
