Anne Frank Deep Dive Private Tour

This tour is a great add-on to your Anne Frank House visit. Or, a great alternative if you couldn't get tickets for the Anne Frank House in time: Let's plunge into Anne's life in Amsterdam. And walk in her footsteps. Where she lived before she went into hiding with her family. Where she went to school and played with her friends? What kind of girl was she? What did the Frank family go through when the Nazi persecution-net was closing in Amsterdam. And how was that net gradually closing? What options did jewish families see? What did they decide to do? What did the Frank family do? Where did Anne get her blank diairy? There are so many things still there for you to experience: her primary school, the bookshop, her home, her playground. On our way we will visit the new Holocaust memorial. Let's take a deep dive into Anne Frank's life here in Amsterdam. And we'll be covering a lot of exciting sites and stories on our way. The Anne Frank story is so impressive and revealing.

I suggest we start at 10 AM. I"ll pick you up from your hotel. But we can easily change that place or time. Just let me know. We will hit: -Merwedeplein (the neighbourhood where Anne lived before going into hiding) -Anne's primary and high schools and the bookshop where she bought her blank diairy. -The head office of the Jewish Council. -The Auschwitz memorial and the new Holocaust memorial - The Anne Frank hiding place (now a museum). We will end our tour outside the Anne Frank Museum. If you want to go into the museum you could dive in straight away after our tour. Tickets become available 6 calendar weeks before your tourday on a Tuesday. Online sales open that Tuesday at 10AM CET. I can't include tickets for the museum during our tour because: 1. The required time depends very much on your personal preference and 2. Availability of tickets is limited and therefore cannot be guaranteed as part of our tour. Just contact me if you need any help.
