Hello! My name is Adriaan. I am an historian and an experienced tour guide in my hometown Amsterdam. Besides that I am a photographer who makes reportages on various hotspots in the world. During our walk along iconic places I tell you in an understandable way (with Amsterdam humor) about the history and background of the city. The general history completed with anecdotes. When you visit the Rijksmuseum and/or make a boat tour along the canals afterwards you see the city differently. Master Degree in History (modern and contemporary history). I will guide towards the best museums! - Groups larger than 15 people are not allowed by the Amsterdam municipality. - I provide walking tours only.
