Easy going private Holland tours by van (max 7 passengers). My main interest is to give you a wider view of Holland than that of only tulips, clogs and cheese. As an independent guide, I do not come with any kind of 'must-see' plan. Of course, it is important to have knowledge about the culture, the museums and history, but I prefer to show my visitors how the Dutch live. From March 18 until May 9 2027. Keukenhof is WOW!!! I bet you have never seen any place so beautiful in your life! Flowers of all kinds, all colours, all shades in perfect formation and bloom. Really stunning are the endless flower fields of the bulb region near Keukenhof. During my tour we will make many photo stops. If you want to walk through the flower fields my tour is the best choice. Rather than putting yourself on a big bus together with eighty fellow travellers. Maybe we will have leave around 7 am to see a different aspect of the flower trading. At the Flora Holland Aalsmeer, the largest flower auction in the world, to experience the hustle and bustle of the auction floor. For this all floral tour we will need four hours. At least! We can combine a visit to Keukenhof with my other tours.
Another fantastic tour with Hans! I had been to Keukenhof before with Hans, but this was my husband’s first time in the Netherlands. He took up landscape photography when he retired, and so many of his photos he took that day are astounding! Thank you yet again, Hans, for another wonderful day!

Lovely mellow time in the gardens. Nice trip to the gardens also we stopped by the fields and one of the original windmills on our way. Low key and comfortable van for transport.
This was the perfect day! Touring the flower market on the way to Keukenhof Gardens was so interesting. Hans walked with us through the market and through the gardens. Guiding us through paths that were less busy. One of our group had some mobility issues and Hans immediately provided a small stool to make it easier for him to get in and out of the van. He also knew where to get a wheelchair at Keukenhof to make things easier. All while being genuinely relaxed, engaged and just a great person to be with.

Good guide, had an afternoon tour of the Keukenhoff at his suggestion. Much smaller crowds, and better light for photography. Good advice to follow.
- If we leave Amsterdam very early a visit to the world's largest flower auction Flora Holland in Aalsmeer (during weekdays only). - The endless flower fields of the bulb region near Lisse (we will make many photo stops). - Keukenhof gardens flower experience with seven million tulips, daffodils, hyacinths, crocuses, lilies and other in beautifully landscaped fields (from 30th of March until te 4th of May 2024 [dates to be decided]). My tours are flexible and it is always possible to make some changes in the itinerary. We want to see as much as possible in a short time. TIP: To avoid the busiest times we could decide to visit Keukenhof as well after 4 o'clock in the afternoon. From Amsterdam it is a drive of less than one hour's drive to the gardens and tulip fields. Keukenhof park will close at 7. 30 pm and this will give you another three hours for a visit. For taking pictures these are the 'magic golden hours'.

For the tours I have a luxury and spacious VW T5 available, with big panoramic windows. The van has big and wide doors to make it easy to get in and out. Because of the Dutch climate it has a well fuctioning heating system. And of course an air con system is integrated. My van has a baggage capacity for a standard suitcase per person plus a carry-on bag. If you are planning to take extra baggage, I can organize an additional car.
