What if you had a friend in Venice, someone who truly knows the city? You’d expect them to take you to the iconic landmarks (maybe even skipping a few lines along the way!), but also to share their Venice: the quiet calli, the hidden bacari, the local markets, the everyday rhythm of real Venetian life. That’s exactly what I offer. Forget the standard tours! My experiences are tailor-made, just for you, exactly as I would do for a dear friend. I’m Manuela, a licensed tour guide and tour leader, proudly Venetian for generations. For over twenty years, I’ve had the joy of helping travelers from around the world fall in love with this extraordinary city. My tours aren’t just about places, they’re about emotions, stories, and the feeling of belonging, even if only for a day. Each experience is fully customizable to your interests, timing, and pace. Whether you have one day or several, I’ll craft an itinerary that reflects what you truly want to see: from grand palaces and famous squares to the secret corners where Venetians still live and breathe their traditions. You’ll have one guide (me) throughout your stay, ensuring a seamless, personal experience and a deep connection with the city. Want to explore Venice’s glorious history? Or stroll through quiet canals, away from the crowds? You can combine both: that’s the beauty of a private, personalized tour.! Together, we’ll create a journey that feels like Venice is yours alone. So take a moment, breathe in the magic of this city, and imagine discovering it through the eyes of someone who calls it home. Let’s make your time in Venice unforgettable, authentic, inspiring, and entirely yours.

In this two-hour tour I’ll take you to discover the most authentic side of Venice, far from the usual tourist paths. We’ll start from St. Mark’s Square, the beating heart of the city, before wandering through hidden alleys, quiet bridges, and peaceful canals where daily life still flows as it always has. As we walk through the districts of Castello and San Polo, I’ll share stories, legends, and curiosities that have been passed down for generations. Each corner reveals a new glimpse of Venice: secret courtyards, ancient palaces, and unexpected reflections on the water. We’ll finish at the Rialto Bridge, the historic heart of Venetian trade, where — if the Rialto Market is open — we’ll admire its lively stalls of fish, fruit, and spices. A genuine journey to experience Venice through the eyes of someone who truly lives it.
We begin in St. Mark’s Square, the heart of my city. After a short introduction to its history and monuments, I’ll guide you away from the crowds to explore the quieter side of Venice. We’ll wander through the narrow alleys and hidden canals of the Castello district, where centuries-old houses and silent courtyards tell their own stories. Passing through Campo Santa Maria Formosa, we’ll continue toward San Polo, following secret passages and lesser-known paths that only locals use. Along the way, I’ll share anecdotes and legends about everyday Venetian life. The tour ends at the Rialto Bridge, with a stunning view of the Grand Canal. If the Rialto Market is open (Mon-Sat), we’ll take a short walk through its colorful stalls, one of the most vibrant corners of Venice.
