You'll start in the district of San Marco, you'll cross the Rialto bridge, you'll walk through San Polo, Canaregio and Castello sestieri (districts). You'll discover the most important areas of Venice, San Marco and Rialto, quiet streets, pass peaceful canals and go beyond the areas that visitors usually see. In the "minor Venice" is where Venice is hiding its best humble domestic architecture and urban shape, that's what you're going to explore. As you wind through Venice's hidden alleyways, I will tell you of my city's past and present. At the end of the walk I'll take you to have an unforgettable gondola ride which will give you a different perspective of Venice, from its canals. . . and that's the correct perspective from which Venice was meant to be seen originally.
