Do you think that visiting a city is difficult with kids? Not, if you have the right guide! ;-) There are a lot of things to do with children in Venice and, of course, any museum, walk, activity can be adapt to capture their attention. An example? Let's start from Saint Mark's Square, where wonderful stories can be told your children starting from the fancy animals and characters displayed on the buildings all around: winged lions, griffons, bronze horses; people doing strange activity, wearing unusual clothes or holding particular tools. And - what to say about the pigeons? Then, we will go to the market, full of fish, fruit, vegetables, colours and people, to see the real Venetian life. Or to Murano, to create a beautiful glass pendant. It is easier to appreciate what surrounds us, if we are tasting the best gelato in town, and it is so relaxing to understand how this city was built on the water seeing it from a beautiful private boat exploring the inner canals. Do you agree, don't you?
Starting from your hotel, we will explore the Saint Mark's Square together. Then, walking through some of the less beaten paths of Venice, we will go to Rialto, to see one of the most famous bridge in the World and the beautiful, lively market that lies along the Grand Canal. After having tasted a good gelato, we will walk around, or spend an hour on a private taxi boat, to see the Grand Canal and some of the inner other canals of the city If you like the idea of your kids doing a beautiful glass pendant in Murano, send me an inquiry: I will change our itinerary and will organise the workshop for you. IMPORTANT NOTICE FOR PEOPLE TRAVELLING ON A CRUISE If you will be in Venice staying on a cruise ship or just in transit, unfortunately I can't get any booking from you. Unfortunately, cruise ships are not arriving anymore at the central Venice dock and you will be told about the final docking place just the day before your arrival, making impossibile to agree a precise schedule.
