My name is Minù. Venice is the city of my mother's family and I have lived here nearly all of my life. I have also lived in Paris, Vienna, Tehan and Berlin, and worked as a journalist for cinema magazines in Dublin and London. I am a graduate in Art History and Italian Literature from the University of Venice. Living in Venice gave me the opportunity to specialize in contemporary art with the Guggenheim and the Art Biennale where I started giving tours in 1999. In recent years the Pinault and Prada Foundations have become part of my tours too. As a certified professional tourist guide and resident of Venice I am eager to show you the historical, art and architectural features of my city. I'm a mom of twins and I know that visiting Venice with kids is not always easy, particularly in the rain. The city has so much to offer that there is always something of interest for every member of the family. I consider myself lucky living and working in such an extraordinary city, this provides me with an authentic living experience that I'm ready to share with you my visitor clients. As a licensed guide you can enter with me all museums, churches, historical buildings, art collections and exhibits. This means you'll always get first hand and qualified knowledge about the sites you'll visit. I'm looking forward to see you in Venice!! ------------------------------------------------------------------ NOTICE: In high season I suggest you contact me first as my availability can change from day to day or even within hours Tourist Guide License 56640 (VENICE Metro area) Port Security Pass 30026 (Venice Port Authority) Tourist Guide License (VICENZA Metro area) Tour Manager License 1056 (Venice Metro area) Licensed Guides in Venice have no restrictions at all.

Experience that magical moment when a Venetian twilight morphs into darkness. Venice seen through its legends, tales, superstitions and myths and how they arose from what historically happened and the particular social context of the times. This bespoke itinerary varies to avoid the mass tourist trail. Immerse yourself in an intimate and peaceful trip fromtwilight to darkness while taking in areas of St Mark's, Castello and San Polo districts. You can request this as a DAY tour so we can enter a variety of institutions which are not open at night and can talk about the funeral rituals, beliefs about Death, and how the afterlife is portrayed in Art & Culture in Venice. * I advise that you wear comfy shoes that you are happy walking in. Please let me know if you have limited mobility as I can adapt the tour to suit your needs. from March 31st until MAY 1 2018/ from 10h Am to 10h PM it is possible to include in the tour the visit to the temporary exhibition: "Crime & Justice: Venice Secrets"
