When the Renaissance arrived, it took on a unique character thanks to Bellini, Titian, Tintoretto, and Veronese. We’ll start at the Church of S. Maria Gloriosa dei Frari, home to masterpieces like Titian’s Assumption and Pesaro Altarpiece, Donatello’s John the Baptist, and Bellini’s Pesaro Triptych. Next, we’ll visit the Scuola di San Rocco, Tintoretto’s 24-year masterpiece, remarkably preserved through history. Finally, we’ll explore the Church of San Sebastiano, decorated by Veronese, who is also buried there.
