Unknown Venice - Explore the Southern Venetian Lagoon

This tour will take you to a less popular and very genuine area of the Venetian Lagoon, to spend an unusual and very relaxing Venetian day. We will begin with a stop at the Lido for a drink on the beach side, enjoying the sea breeze and a view of the Adriatic. Then we will ride on the boat to reach the Island of Pellestrina, crossing the port of mouth where the waters of the Lagoon encounter those of the Sea. We will stop briefly at the small fishermen village of Pellestrina to see the village, and then continue on to Chioggia. There we'll take a walking tour which will include its famous fish market, one of the most important in Italy. After the tour, we will have an unforgettable lunch at a typical restaurant "chioggiotto" to enjoy the genuine local cuisine. You will then have some time at leisure to walk around and shop, and then we'll ride back to Venice relaxing and enjoying the calm of the Lagoon. You can be very casual, and even bring your bathing suit!
